NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP)

The NIGP-CPP certification program is based on the Public Procurement Competency Framework and shifts the focus from gaining knowledge to building competencies. It goes beyond all existing certifications to look at the full scope of your capabilities and includes technical and behavioral skills.

The NIGP-CPP certification and integration with Pathways will mean better service for our members and a simpler, more seamless experience. NIGP will play a central role and provide accountability for all your public procurement learning and credentialing needs. You will have one point of contact and one portal (ASPIRE) where you can manage, track and validate all your learning and credentialing efforts from certificates to specializations to certification.

Registration for May 2022 testing closed on March 31, 2022. No further registrations can be accepted.

From April 1 – April 24, 2022, the NIGP-CPP application and registration system will not be available as we install new system software to enhance your user experience.

On April 25, 2022 we plan to reopen the NIGP-CPP application and registration system – just in time for you to register for the August 2022 testing window.
